Thermal and acoustic insulation

In this collection the elegant frame of the pivot window shows an external aluminum covering, that ensures a higher thermal and acoustic insulation, maintaining the strong point of this unique creation: the hardware enables the window to rotate 180° on itself along the horizontal axis.

PIVOT WINDOW
The pivot window stands out for its particular opening that allows to have the maximum aeration with the minimum space occupancy, thanks to the 180° rotation on itself along the horizontal axis. Moreover, this structure makes the cleaning of the outside easier.

HARDWARE
The hardware is what confers the pivot window its peculiar movement: the sash leans over two side pivots during the opening.

JOINTS
The 70 mm thickness of the sash allows a joint between struts and crosspieces with triple tenon and dowels. Vinyl-based glues are used on the joints according to DIN 68602.

FINISH
Performed in several phases: primer application by immersion with anti-mold and anti-parasitic treatment; sanding to make the surface perfectly smooth; final spray finishing.

FRAME PROFILES
Classic profile, with square glazing bead and linear sash, or elaborate profile.

DRIP RAIL
It is realized by means of drilling holes in the lower part of the frame.

COVER STRIPS
Standard cover strips: external 3 x 0,8 cm – internal 5.5 x 1 cm.

ALUMINUM COVERING
The aluminum profiles are applied to the window frame by means of holder clip made of plastic material and fixing screws, leaving a 3 to 5 mm air chamber between wood and aluminum to avoid the formation of condensation. The materials observe the highest European standards of resistance to atmospheric agents and the alterations they can cause. Varnishing is realized with the anodic oxidation method.
